The mission of the Land Department is to preserve and protect the cultural and traditional uses of the Pueblo’s land. With a total of 16 employees, the Lands department manages several programmatic areas, which inclued Housing, Community Farm, Bison, Realty, Planning, Engineering, and GIS. The responsibilities of the Land Department have increased significantly over the years. This is due to the Pueblo’s proximity to the City of Albuquerque and in large part due to the complexities of running a growing tribal government. Today, we coordinate with a number of private, local, state, and federal government offices to achieve our mission. Services:
Hours of operation: Office and general work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Housing Maintenance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Lands Department can be contacted at 505-771-5014
